Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

These terms govern your use of Squawk Zero, the aircraft management platform operated by Squawk Zero Inc. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Squawk Zero, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Squawk Zero is a web-based record-keeping and management tool for aircraft owners and operators. The platform provides document storage, maintenance tracking, flight logging, compliance reminders, and team collaboration features.

Squawk Zero is a record-keeping tool only. It does not provide regulatory compliance advice, legal counsel, aviation maintenance guidance, or insurance recommendations. Aircraft owners and operators are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable FAA regulations, manufacturer requirements, and other governing authorities.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Squawk Zero only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the platform to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or objectionable content, or to interfere with the operation of the service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all data you enter into the platform, including aircraft records, maintenance logs, and flight data.

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload or enter into Squawk Zero. We do not claim ownership of your aircraft records, documents, flight logs, or other content.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the service. This license terminates when you delete your data or close your account.

6. Aviation Disclaimer

SQUAWK ZERO IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL AVIATION ADVICE. Maintenance intervals, compliance reminders, and inspection schedules displayed in the platform are based on owner-configured settings and are for informational purposes only.

You must consult qualified aviation professionals — including certificated mechanics (A&P/IA), aviation attorneys, and insurance brokers — for all compliance, maintenance, legal, and insurance decisions. Squawk Zero assumes no liability for decisions made based on information displayed in the platform.

7. Billing and Payments

Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at signup. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SQUAWK ZERO AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may close your account through the settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

Upon termination, you may export your data for a period of 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Squawk Zero after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
